Reggae airwaves are currently under attack from a sweet and tantalizing rhythm called the Passion rhythm. Radio jocks from Jamaica, the US and all over the Caribbean have already subscribed to this engaging beat, which is being touted as the next big thing in reggae music. NAP Musiq Productions, a Jamaica and US-based reggae outfit is responsible for the Passion project. Remember the hit “We’re In Heaven” by Da’Ville? Or how about the Wash Pan rhythm? VP Records’ Memorial Day Concert 2005

The VP Records 2nd annual Memorial Day concert, held on Sunday, May 29 at the Bayfront Park in Downtown Miami, Florida pulled out a massive crowd. Concert-goers were treated to high powered performances from the likes of Beenie Man and Freddie McGregor. Other artistes on the massive lineup earned thunderous applause from the crowd during their respective time slots and represented themselves well. 19-Year-Old Wins Miss Jamaica Universe 2002 Title

It was sheer jubilation inside the Ballroom of the Hilton Kingston Hotel on Sunday, March 24 as 19-year-old Sanya Hughes triumphed over 12 other contestants, to take the coveted title of Miss Jamaica Universe 2002.

Entertainers Snub Entertainment Consultation Programme

Despite being advertised for more than a week, very few entertainers were in attendance at the Entertainment Consultation Programme, which was hosted by the Ministry of Tourism and Sport at the Jamaica Conference Centre on Saturday October 20.
